One of our ongoing projects at Skillet Creek is photographing and mapping all the memorial benches throughout Devil’s Lake State Park. Our goal is to make these memorials accessible online for family and friends, simplify the process of locating benches within the park, and create a lasting digital record that will endure beyond the physical benches themselves. Although this project is time-intensive, we are constantly updating the map with new additions.
To explore the memorial benches, simply click on a blue icon to view its information. The Google Maps version can be easily printed or accessed directly through your smartphone. Additionally, you can download the map to various mapping applications for convenient use.
