Hotels and motels near Devil’s Lake State Park are concentrated in three areas: Baraboo, about 3 miles from the park’s main entrance; the Wisconsin Dells corridor along Highway 12, roughly 15 minutes north; and Reedsburg, about 20 minutes to the west.
Baraboo is the closest option and the most practical base for a park-focused trip. The Dells corridor offers more choices at a wider range of price points, with the tradeoff of more traffic and a longer drive to the trailheads. Reedsburg is quieter and often less expensive, with easy highway access to the park.
