Ice Age Campground at Devil’s Lake State Park is the most wooded and secluded of the park’s campgrounds. All sites are non-electric, making it especially popular with tent campers, though pop-ups and RVs are allowed.

The campground is divided into two sections: Lower Ice Age (sites 301-390) and Upper Ice Age (sites 401-535). Lower Ice Age includes a mix of wooded and more open sites, including a popular stretch set within a pine grove. Upper Ice Age is more heavily wooded throughout, offering a quieter, more enclosed feel. Three sites are available for visitors with disabilities.

Sites tend to feel more private overall due to the surrounding woods, though terrain and spacing vary between the upper and lower sections.

The campground is located about a mile from the main day-use area and beach. While the distance can be walked, most visitors choose to drive. Ice Age Campground includes two shower buildings with running water, along with seven pit toilet buildings located throughout the campground.
