Devil’s Lake State Park’s Northern Lights campground has 71 sites with a mix of open and wooded areas, with both electric and non-electric options available. For those looking for wooded electric sites, this campground is an excellent choice.
The campground features a playground, a modern yet small shower building, and a dump/fill station. Additionally, there are two sites available for people with disabilities. The North Shore day-use picnic area and beach are about half a mile from the campground, with connector trails to access the area. Visitors should be aware that the walk includes some steep grades.

Interesting Tidbit…
This campground is the oldest campground at Devil’s Lake State Park, opened in 1939. Three of the four shower/restroom buildings were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s.
