Sunday evening at Devil’s Lake State Park a number of train cars derailed just south of the South Shore crossing within the park. No one was injured and there were no hazardous materials on board.
There are no more details at this time, but the derailed cars will not impact park visitors as they are southeast of the main day-use areas.
June 2nd Update – The rail cars have been cleared and the tracks are now open.
