Wisconsin's fall colors are amazing, and Devil's Lake State Park is one of the best…
Sorry, it was there! Well, life is getting a bit more convenient for campers at Devil’s Lake State Park. Concessions are now selling wood and ice!
Ice and wood can be purchased on the north shore of the park just behind the (closed) visitor center. I’m told that they are also selling out of a window at the Ice Age Campground store as well. (Credit Card Only!) At this time the retail stores, food services & boat rentals are still closed, but hey, you can get wood and ice now. It’s a start!
Wood is $6 a bundle or 4 for $22.
For nearly 2 decades the Skillet Creek blog has focused on 3 main goals; To inspire you to visit and explore the Devil’s Lake region, to help you get the most your visit by sharing tips, events, and other helpful information. Lastly to advocate for our environment & wildlife and talk about how we can keep our natural areas amazing now and into the future! That last goal can sometimes cause controversy, but it’s the only way we can accomplish the first two. – Derrick Mayoleth, Owner.
