I’ve been hearing a lot of questions and fielding a lot of phone calls about Wisconsin State Park stickers. So, I’ve chased down some answers and here’s what you’ll want to know.
What You Need To Know Today
- You can now purchase Wisconsin State Park stickers online. Click Here.
- You can only buy annual stickers. Daily stickers are not being sold now.
- You may call the call center to order WI Park Stickers at: 1-888-305-0398. from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days per week.
- That weird noise you hear is not because it’s broken, it’s a busy signal. (People who don’t normally make phone calls, can be surprised by this!)
- You can NOT buy stickers at the parks.
- Calling the parks directly isn’t helpful. Yes, some parks are assisting the call centers, but trying to jump-the-line to call these parks only jams up the park lines which are needed for normal park business.
- Put your emailed receipt in the window. When you purchase a sticker, you will be emailed a receipt. Print your receipt and put it in the drivers-side dash of your windshield.
- If you don’t have a printer. Get a piece of paper. Write the confirmation number down, the sticker type, and where you purchased the sticker (Your receipt will name a property, even though you called.). Place this in your window.
- You can also purchase a sticker online as part of a membership package from the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks at: https://fwsponlineshopping.blogspot.com/
- You will not be asked to show your sticker at a gate, but wardens will be checking car windows.
This information is “to the best of my knowledge” as of May 13th, 2020. but of course, things change over time. Please share this with folks who are asking these questions. Good Luck!
For nearly 2 decades the Skillet Creek blog has focused on 3 main goals; To inspire you to visit and explore the Devil’s Lake region, to help you get the most your visit by sharing tips, events, and other helpful information. Lastly to advocate for our environment & wildlife and talk about how we can keep our natural areas amazing now and into the future! That last goal can sometimes cause controversy, but it’s the only way we can accomplish the first two. – Derrick Mayoleth, Owner.
Hi Derrick,
You probably already know this but thought I’d mention it anyway. You can now buy a park sticker online. Your link takes you to the appropriate site. Thanks for the great newsletter.
