The summer crowd is still hanging around... Autumn is getting later. It's easy to see…
Happy New Year! We’ve got so much to talk about and prepare for as we head into 2020! I hope everyone had a fun holiday season! Before we jump full-on into the new year, I wanted to share our last collection of video clips and stills from our Devil’s Lake State Park critter cams.
Most of these shots come from November & December of 2019. Among the captures you’ll see curious (and even spooky!) deer, a weasel, some blinking eyes hidden in the fog and more. AND if you have an ID for that little rodent, let us know in the comments below!
(And by the way, you now need your 2020 park sticker to visit Wisconsin State Parks!)
For nearly 2 decades the Skillet Creek blog has focused on 3 main goals; To inspire you to visit and explore the Devil’s Lake region, to help you get the most your visit by sharing tips, events, and other helpful information. Lastly to advocate for our environment & wildlife and talk about how we can keep our natural areas amazing now and into the future! That last goal can sometimes cause controversy, but it’s the only way we can accomplish the first two. – Derrick Mayoleth, Owner.
